Moscow to host International Literary Forum opening ceremony on December 6th

The ceremony will be held in the Gostiny Dvor amphitheater in Moscow and will bring together writers from 35 countries.
The International Literary Forum opening ceremony will be attended by Sergey Stepashin, Chairman of the AWPUR Supervisory Board and President of the Russian Book Union, Vladimir Tolstoy, Chairman of AWPUR’s Artistic Board and President of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, Sergey Shargunov, Chairman of AWPUR, writer, and chief editor of Yunost magazine and Vladimir Grigoriev, Director of the Department of the Government Support of Periodical Press and Book Industry of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

The International Literary Forum is organized by the Association of Writers and Publishers Unions of Russia (AWPUR). It will be held at Moscow’s Gostiny Dvor between December 5–8, 2024. The forum will bring together writers, scholars, and translators from 35 countries to discuss world literature today across 16 panel sessions.

The opening ceremony will take place in Gostiny Dvor’s amphitheater at 4 Ilyinka st. and will begin at 3:00 p.m.
