There is a very special school in Russia – The Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. Meanwhile, other Russian universities offer only three master’s programs in creative writing, while European and American universities have many more. What writers teach and how they do it. Writers at universities are more than just mentors. How professional writers integrate themselves into the higher education system and what they can offer each other.
